As a Registered Training Organisation, we are approved to deliver the CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care courses.
The Institute also offers non-accredited courses, education, professional support and information pertaining to the Montessori approach, through partnership with schools, childcare centres and the wider community. Our courses are delivered via a flexible blend of external study, online and face-to-face workshops, Australia-wide.
Founded in 1983, we have dedicated our work to the sustainability of Montessori education in Australia, through accessible Australian Qualification Framework level courses and quality training; which offer excellence in educational outcomes. We welcome students and non-students to register for any of our workshops.

This is a non-accredited course that is suitable for already qualified teacher assistants, family day care and playgroup leaders who need knowledge and understanding of Montessori education for ages 3-6, option to include 0-3 years. This course would also be suitable for parents and caregivers.

CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

This nationally accredited qualification is the current minimum standard required to work as a qualified childcare assistant and early childhood educator in childcare centres, long daycare centres or preschool programs.

0-6 age focus

The Course is divided into 17 study units.

18 months full-time or up to 3 years part-time.

CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

This nationally accredited qualification is for educators wishing to further their early childhood careers. The course reflects the role of educators who work in regulated children's education and care services in Australia.

I was able to complete the Graduate Diploma in Education as well as my Montessori Diploma (3-6) in a little under four years. I am now employed as a full-time Class Director in a 3-6 environment within a Montessori primary school, and my training fully prepared me for my current role.
The Curriculum Workshops were engaging, fascinating and excellent preparation for teaching in a Montessori or mainstream school environment. My tutor provided insightful and timely feedback, and she inspired me to work hard.
The course was family-friendly allowing me to work, have a family, and study. The trainers were current, knowledgeable and ensured you had time to take in and understand the course content.
